When Mary took that lamb to school, I am sure they thought it quite uncouth for her to narrate to the classroom how absolutely mad their whole way of life was!
And the children in the park outside my window could be heard caroling, “Mary had a little lamb, his face was beautiful.” It was quite an event.
Well, and God came down on Joseph and he lay down with Mary, and born is another lamb of god inside the hearth of her own fire, where she is the endless well and the womb of all creation. And thusly, a new lamb was born.
Sophia of wisdoms, face of memory, knowledge of ancient of days, sacred lamb, foolish child, awakener of all things.
